SkillSwap Standard Trade Agreement This agreement is between Sam (plumber) and Jordan (electrician), made on 7 June 2025. 1. SkillSwap Major Works Agreement This is a formal agreement for a larger job, between Sam (plumber) and Jordan (electrician), made on 7 June 2025. 1. The swap - Sam (plumber) agrees to provide: Replace a leaking kitchen mixer tap and check the waste pipe - Jordan (electrician) agrees to provide: Wire two new LED battens in the garage and install a new switch 2. Scope of work Both parties confirm they have discussed and agreed on the specific scope of work through SkillSwap messaging before starting. Any defects must be raised through SkillSwap messaging within 7 days of completion. 7. Cancellation Either party may cancel before work starts by notifying the other through SkillSwap messaging. Once work has started, both parties must agree to cancel. Give as much notice as you reasonably can. 8. Safety & insurance acknowledgements - Each party is responsible for ensuring their work is safe and complies with relevant regulations. - Licensed trades (electrical, plumbing, gas, building) must be performed by appropriately licensed individuals. - Each party is responsible for their own insurance coverage. - Both parties acknowledge they have checked each other's reviews and qualifications before agreeing. 9. Liability disclaimer SkillSwap is not liable for any damage, injury, loss, or cost arising from any swap. Each party takes part at their own risk and is responsible for their own work, insurance, and tax obligations. No money changes hands on this platform. 10. Dispute resolution 1. Try to resolve the issue directly through SkillSwap messaging first. 2. If unresolved after 7 days, either party can flag the trade as "Disputed" in the app. 3. SkillSwap may review the trade history and take action including warnings or account suspension. 4. SkillSwap does not provide financial compensation — no money changes hands on this platform.
